Nearing the End

Nearing the End

Feb. 2, 2018 – Tomorrow will be my last day in the office. Staff will be “scattered” at meetings so I’m not sure what the day will hold for me.

I left the office mid-morning today (Thursday) to take George shopping for some of the items he needs for school. Dianah accompanied me, and it was good because we had so much to carry. Our backpacks and arms were full!!! I was so wishing for a Kohl’s or Walmart as we walked and walked looking for items – and at times bargaining.

The power in my home was restored. I’m so thankful to the electrician in the village that Rose uses. I wasn’t able to meet him, so I don’t think he knows how REALLY thankful I am to him.

I look forward to seeing and/or talking with you soon. I remain thankful to the Center for Hospice Care and the Palliative Care Association of Uganda for these opportunities to share in their work. I feel enriched and blessed!
