Please join us for an art exhibition and silent auction to support “After Images.”
Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 5:30pm-7:30pm
After Images uses art as an outlet for participants’ grief. They create their artwork in a studio space with the support and guidance of Dave Labrum, who brought the program to CHC almost 20 years ago. Labrum, who has a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan and a master’s in counseling from Indiana University, says the studio is a place where people feel safe, and are able to express their grief openly and honestly.
Center for Hospice Care and the Hospice Foundation will host the “Journeys in Healing” art exhibit and silent auction on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. The auction will end at 7:30, with pieces available for pickup at 7:45. Proceeds from the event will be added to an endowment which has been established for the After Images program.
There will be 11 pieces of art produced by program participants as part of the silent auction. The pieces are available for viewing and bidding before the event, just click below.
“Journeys in Healing” will take place on Center for Hospice Care’s Mishawaka Campus at 501 Comfort Place in Mishawaka, next to Central Park.
