PCAU’s Road to Hope (RTH) program anchors the organization’s work in communities, and in recent years, has expanded its reach to help more children and families with palliative care needs. The program supports formal education including vocational education and training, apprenticeship, and mentorship for youth to transform livelihoods. Their newer Compassionate Communities initiative includes youth from diverse backgrounds to build a greater sense of community, solidarity, and solution in these future leaders. These youth learn about palliative care and participate in community service activities with local hospices.
