Thank you to everybody that joined us for our Journeys in Healing art auction. It was a great evening, with over 100 people in attendance. 11 pieces of art from our After Images art counseling program were featured in the silent auction. After Images is a part of Center for Hospice Care’s (CHC) Life Transition Center, and allows community members to express their grief through art. Like all of the bereavement programs at CHC, After Images is free to everybody in the community, not just people who have had a loved one in CHC’s care.

Many of the artists featured in the silent auction were present at the event and talked with attendees about their pieces of art and the process they went through to create it. The evening was an opportunity to bring exposure to the After Images program, while raising money that will go towards funding an endowment that will ensure that the program continues in perpetuity.
