Forty-three Years of Celebrating Life

Life changes when people receive a life-limiting diagnosis. But with the help that a compassionate, skilled care team provides, life can still be filled with reasons to smile, both large and small. 

Center for Hospice patients receive just that kind of care from the area’s most experienced team of hospice professionals. It’s individualized care that puts the patient and their loved ones first – from perinatal palliative care to specialized care for those with congestive heart failure, COPD or late-stage dementia/Alzheimer’s. As a local, comprehensive, non-profit hospice provider, Center for Hospice Care is uniquely able to meet the needs of people experiencing the effects of life-limiting conditions.

With 43 years of service to the community, Center for Hospice Care has been the hospice provider of choice for thousands and thousands of families in the nine counties it serves. Its family/caregiver satisfaction surveys are extraordinarily high – evidence of not only high-quality care CHC provides but also the delivery of a holistic suite of caring services that meets a wide variety of patient family needs. It’s care that keeps improves the quality of living for patients and their loved ones. 

Since 1980, more than 43,000 patients have been cared for by the CHC team. And thanks to the generosity of a giving community, Center for Hospice Care been able to continue its founding promise of never turning anyone away due to the inability to pay. From 2017-2021 charity and other free services have totaled nearly $13 million in programming.

As Center for Hospice Care’s fund-raising arm, the Hospice Foundation’s mission is to assure that those charity and other free services will continue to be met. With the help of friends like you, we can help CHC continue to keep its founding promise.
